Wee Chance Collection Info

Due to a recent increase in collections, we have temporarily had to suspend our collection service for 2024. 

Background facts: 

• Only around a third of discarded clothing is given to charity or re-sold
• Only about 1% of clothing sent to recyclers is turned into new clothing
• The 1% that is recycled can usually only be recycled once  

Our market research found that families want to do the right thing and give clothes to charity, but clothes build up quickly with kids and recyclers are often the easiest option. Wee Chance want to help and we see it as a win-win since we need baby/toddler clothes for our pop up stalls in order to achieve our goal of setting up a permanent store to hire people who need a second chance. 

As we only sell specific brands, we'll sort through your items and any that do not meet our brand criteria, we'll donate to one of our charity partners in Scotland on your behalf. 

• Free pick up from any Edinburgh postcode
• Bookings must be placed 48 hours in advance, unless arranged over phone 
• Clothes must be clean, in good condition and not stained
• Clothing bundle must contain at least 3 items of clothing that meet Wee Chance's branding requirements
